Application Form

Step (1) One of the StarLine Partner Certification Programme

Thank  you for your interest in becoming an authorised Partner for StarLine Systems UK Ltd. We appreciate your interest, and look forward to discussing our potential partnership further.

However, since we are looking for long-term mutually beneficial partnerships, we are very particular as to whom we accept into our dealers’ network, and do have certain criteria for potential Partners. If you would like to apply to become an authorised StarLine Partner in the United Kingdom, please fill in the form below.

We do value your time, so we kindly ask you, prior to submitting your application form, to familiarise yourself with a list of criteria we apply to potential Partners to ensure that we can process your application as soon as possible (we aim to respond within 2 working days).

Please press the “Read This First” button to do so.

Please note that we might not be able to accept your application if an existing dealer is already listed in your immediate area on our approved dealers map. Please feel free to contact us even if there’s already a dealer in your area though, as we might still be able to accept your application if the existing dealer’s activity does not meet our criteria for ‘exclusive  partnership‘.

We are not looking for stockists / resellers. We are interested exclusively in partnering with companies / sole traders that offer installation services (in-house or mobile) to the end-user. Reselling our products to companies or individual installers that don’t have a valid StarLine Partner ID is strictly prohibited

It is very important for potential Partners to realise that StarLine is not an out-of-the-box brand. Being a premium brand that produces highly technologically advanced, unique, customisable solutions for automotive security professionals, our products are not designed for generic installs – we don’t cut corners when it comes to vehicle security, and require that our Partners share this phylosophy! For those who are interested in quick-fit, DIY-type products that requires minimum expertise to work with, StarLine might not be a good fit.

It is important that potential Partners are willing to spend the time needed to get familiar with the StarLine platform. Most of our current Partners had never worked with a platform of this complexity before, and it took weeks, sometimes even months, for them to get comfortable working with it. It is vital that potential Partners are prepared to invest the time needed to learn on their own, including studying training materials and applying them in practice.

We require that our Partners are active in promoting our brand and products through various means, instead of passively waiting for potential customers to randomly show interest. We encourage our Partners to not only place our products on their website, but also actively promote them through social media and other outlets.

Most StarLine products are not suitable for beginners. They are highly complex, customisable, technologically-advanced products designed for bespoke installs, to be handled exclusively by suitable qualified individuals. Someone with very little or no experience with products of similar complexity, as well as extensive knowledge of automotive electronics, is not likely to make a good candidate for partnership with StarLine.

Also, in our experience, people who have previously only dealt with generic installs, such as trackers and CAN-BUS immobilisers (which we regard as DIY products), might not have the expertise needed to work with our products, particularly our high-end range.

It is important to remember that StarLine is an aftermarket brand, therefore – we do not provide vehicle-specific information. We do offer thorough information on and full support for our products, including product feature compatibility with different vehicle makes and models, but we cannot provide vehicle-specific installation instructions / connection diagrams or assist with actual installation. Therefore it is required that Partners are suitably qualified and have sufficient experience working on different vehicles, and / or have access to a third-party source for obtaining relevant information that might be needed when carrying out installations of our products to any particular vehicle.
